Harlem/Bronx Facilitator

Mrs. Joshlyn Perry the Founder, President and Chief Executive Officer of Zaenah’s Blanket Foundation, Inc. and Ten Little Finger Ten Little Toes Doula Circle.  She founded the Corporation to honor the life of her daughter Zaenah Mitchell who passed away at the age 2.  Since then, Mrs. Perry has dedicated her career to ensuring that all children start with the best opportunity to live meaningful lives. 

Mrs. Perry is a native and current resident of the Bronx, New York.  She deeply understands the diverse racial, ethnic and cultural communities that the Corporation serves.  She is also a passionate advocate of Perinatal, and family health, education and welfare initiatives with hands-on executive tier experience in both the public and private realms of children and family services.  

For more than 15 years, Mrs. Perry has managed several New York City based organizations.  She has experience planning and overseeing the development and administration of operations, programs, services, executives, staff and volunteers. Her expertise includes non-profit and corporate organizational management, board governance, compliance, strategic planning, membership, capacity building, resource development and training; fundraising; and, financial planning and reporting.  She has helmed projects with budgets well over a half million dollars.   She has fostered strong community and corporate relationships having built strategic partnerships with sponsors, donors and recipients.  She has structured innovative needs-based programs and sourced the funding to pay for them.  She has also established, implemented and evaluated marketing and promotions plans.

Mrs. Perry holds a Bachelor of Arts from The College of New York and holds various credentials and certifications in the family services realm including: Birth & Postpartum Doula, Certified Lactation Counselor, Certified Trainer – Child Abuse and Neglect, Certification – Characteristics of Juvenile Delinquents, Certification – Working with Difficult Youth, Responding to Emergencies and CPR-PRO.
